Reading the price paths

What the recorded price models mean, and how to use them without a sales call.

Updated September 15, 2026

Two price models are recorded

Public price means the vendor publishes a pricing page that the record links to. Contact sales means no public price was located in the checked source, and the record links to the page that was checked.

The directory does not estimate, convert, or project a price. It records which of the two paths a firm would take, with the source and the date.

Filter by price path before anything else

If a firm needs to evaluate options without a sales conversation, the price filter narrows the directory to records where the vendor publishes pricing.

That filter reflects the vendor's published material on the checked date, not a guarantee that pricing will not change.

Price path is not total cost

A published price does not capture implementation, migration, training, or per-seat minimums. The record states the price path and links to the vendor page so a firm can read the detail itself.
